2021 Wine Walk Cancelled

It is with a heavy heart that we advise you that the APCO Foundation's 2021 Geelong Wine Walk has been cancelled due to COVID-19 and the Stage 4 lockdown restrictions commencing at midnight tonight (Friday 12 February). We were so looking forward to you joining us tomorrow however it is unfortunately not to be and of course, the safety of everyone comes first.

The APCO Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that endeavours to raise money to enable changes in our community in the areas of Health, Poverty, Education and Disaster Relief. Just recently, we donated to:

  1. Wombats Wish - a camp for children whose parents have suicided ($10,000)

  2. Cottage By The Sea - a camp for children whose families are having problems ($15,000)

  3. Struggling families due to kidney disease ($5,000)

  4. Dress up place - providing jobs to people with disabilities ($3,000)

  5. Samaritan house - to furnish a house for a homeless man ($3,000)

  6. Family of a young child struggling with a metastatic brain tumour ($5,000)

The Geelong Wine Walk is one of two of our major fundraisers each year, and we are incredibly sad about its cancellation. As such, we have provided two options from here.

  1. Donate your ticket cost to the APCO Foundation and go in the running to win a range of raffle prizes to be announced next Saturday, with the 1st prize being a bottle of Penfolds Grange Wine valued at $800!

  2. Request a ticket refund via Eventbrite.

Thank you for your support of the APCO Foundation and it's 2021 Geelong Wine Walk event. We hope we can host you in 2022 but for now, stay safe.
